Strong Regions — A Strong Country

Әділет is convinced: the true competitiveness of the country is determined by the balanced and dynamic development of its regions. Every region of Kazakhstan must be regarded as a full-fledged subject of development — with its own potential, needs, and the right to fair attention from the centre. We advocate for the financial self-sufficiency of regions and the use of their revenues for the needs of local communities. Our goal is the gradual reduction of budget dependency and the transformation of regions into sustainable growth hubs that contribute to national progress.

Regional policy must aim at reducing imbalances and equalising the quality of life, modernising basic infrastructure, and ensuring equal access to healthcare, education, and digital services.

Problems must be resolved on the ground — where they arise — and delegated to the centre only in exceptional cases. We will work towards expanding the powers of local authorities and strengthening the role of maslikhats in managing local processes.
